About Albion

Albion has been making saddles in Walsall since 1985. Every saddle is made in-house, by hand, to the latest British Standard, by craftspeople who have spent their working lives in English saddlery.

The range covers dressage, jump and general-purpose saddles, with bridles, girths and accessories to match. Albion saddles are ridden at every level, from first lessons to international championships.

What they offer

  • Dressage saddles
  • Jumping and general-purpose saddles
  • Bridles, girths and leather accessories

Part of Amanda’s journey

For a para rider, the saddle is more than tack. Dystonia affects Amanda’s balance, co-ordination and muscle control, so a saddle that holds her securely and lets her communicate clearly with her horse makes a real difference to every test she rides.

Albion backed Amanda from the very start of her para dressage career until 2020, through her years on the British team, and Albion saddles and saddle pads feature in many of her competition and team photos.
